Success looks different to many

But as believers 

Success is following the Word 

On purpose

Here are a few ways to Get things done on purpose:

1. Purpose by design: 

   1. Everyone was created by God's workmanship showing his craftsmanship, made beforehand so we may walk in them Ephesians 2:10. God knew of us from within our mother's womb and had a design and will for our lives as we were planned out by God Psalms 139: 13-14.

   2. Just to name a few that God informed to do a specific tasks for the design were Noah, Nehemiah, and Solomon allowing God's plan to be fulfilled seen in Genesis 6, Nehemiah 2, and 1 kings 5. Each man had a different design to build with the same purpose of God's plan to thrive. Will you allow God’s design to thrive within your life? 

2. Do not be distracted:

   1. Many things happen around that may call for our attention, but we must refuse any invitation that's not in alignment with God. In Nehemiah 6: 1-3 we see how people were attempting to get Nehemiah to stop what God informed him to do with rebuilding the wall so they could harm him, but he declined stating “ I am doing a great work and I cannot come down”.  We need to learn how to say “NO” to distractions and finish within the work God has designed for us.

   2. We need to discover and recognize the source of distractions as informed in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 “no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of the light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.” we must learn how to decipher each spirit by the fruits they are bearing, for God called us for a greater purpose than our distractions. 

3. Faithful and focused living on purpose: 

   1. God knows our capacity and we are assigned trust according to our abilities. In Luke 16:10 it states “whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much…” If we don’t compare but focus and stay faithful to God we can continue to flourish in our Purpose. 

   2. As seen in Matthew 25: 14-30 the man entrusted his wealth to his servants who he gave different bags of wealth according to their abilities. When the Master returned to settle the accounts he saw two servants invested the wealth bringing more while one servant was in fear and buried the wealth not receiving a benefit at all. We each must learn how to invest with intentionality and not sit in fear causing failure.

4. Finishing a life on purpose:

   1. Although the world will try to agonize us we must stand firm and keep our focus on Jesus as our labor in the Lord is not in vain 1 Corinthians 15:58 . As Paul said in 2 Timothy 4: 6-8 he finished the race. We are to finish the race righteously, living everyday as if we are preparing to meet Jesus for our crown of righteousness awaits. 

God is precise 

And does everything with a purpose

Only thing required of us is 

Obedience

Will you thrive on purpose?
